They add more of a modern twist to the kitchen space with a fashionable, flat fronted slick style. All the way from the USA they are now proving to be greatly popular in Great Britain, and we are excited to be able to offer them.

The style is completely flat fronted with a frame around the door. They can come in wood grain or a smooth finish, and of course hand painted in the colour of your choice. So why not be bold and go for a daring red!

The carcasses are traditionally made from your choice of solid Pine, Oak, Walnut veneer, Birch ply or an Oak Veneer – using dove tail joints. The doors use mortice and tenon joints and can be specified with soft-close hinges or traditional butt hinges. Our drawer boxes use the dove tail join and are on soft-close runners.

You can also have it hand painted in any colour you wish. Your options are increased from an on-trend grey to a bolder red or pink for the island.

A handleless project in Sawbridgeworth

We completed this contemporary in-frame slab kitchen in Sawbridgeworth that met our client’s requirements. The cabinets were hand painted in a matt white, with a “J” style handleless pull for a subtle and extremely attractive modern kitchen. This style of cabinetry is a very popular style in the USA, and is now making its mark in the UK. Completed with a white quartz and a solid wooden worktop for the island, the space has been created for a multi-functional kitchen for all the family, as well as the family pet.

Our showroom design that can be handleless

In our recently updated showroom we included the in-frame contemporary slab front style furniture which features bar handles and painted in Elephant’s Breath by Farrow & Ball. This design can also be opted for without handles, much like the Harvey Jones Linear collection. We have included Walnut chopping boards and a serving tray which can be pulled out easily and placed back when not in use. There are two spice drawers and a dishwasher integrated into the furniture. The glass door wall cabinets are also in-frame slab front.
