Sub-Zero Wolf are renowned for their award-winning appliances and their reputation of bringing a professional life to the home. The company was founded in Madison, Wisconsin in the USA by Westye F. Bakke building his first freestanding freezer in the basement of his home. This invention then kick-started a series of pioneering creations triggering the birth of the Sub-Zero Freezer Company.

Madison is the capital city of Wisconsin that lies west of Milwaukee, sitting between the lakes of Mendota and Monona. There are many breathtaking parks and beaches in the city of Madison. 6,000 acres of parkland in the 260 parks that Madison has to offer and around 17 beaches where you can swim, fish, play or relax at one of the sandy shore-side sanctuaries.

Henry Vilas Zoo

Henry Vilas Zoo opened in 1911 and has continued to add exhibits and attractions that educate and delight zoo-goers of all ages. In 1904 William F. and Anna M. donated a 63-acre tract of land for Vilas Park, naming it in memory of the couple’s son, Henry, who died at the age of 5 years old.

It is one of a few admission-free, community-supported zoos in the country and is home to over 650 animals from all over the world. With over 115 species, 20 of which are considered endangered and vulnerable.

Madison Museum of Contemporary Art

The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art was designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli. The museum offers 51,500 square feet of interior space, as well as a 7,100 square foot rooftop sculpture garden. This museum provides free exhibitions and education programmes that engage people in modern and contemporary art.
