Modern Shaker Kitchen 77, Standon

This Modern shaker kitchen meets a traditional art house in Standon, Herts. The modern shaker by Nicholas Bridger was chosen and has ‘butt’ hinges which gives a nice traditional touch to an otherwise modern take on the shaker style.

What makes it modern you ask? Well the flat frame of the cabinets (no bead), in-frame, shallow recessed panels, as well as recessed plinths.

This is a large space, occupied by 2 large islands with runs of furniture down either side of the room looking towards a drop-dead view straight out of those huge sliding doors.

Hand-painted in Hague Blue by Farrow and Ball for that ultimate statement look.
